Sandi's Story
Sandi Crosby entered real estate for a deeply personal reason: after experiencing her first home purchase without adequate representation, she was determined to ensure that anyone she knew would have the knowledge and guidance they deserved going into the process.
What started as a desire to be educated enough to purchase her own properties evolved into a full-time career driven by genuine care. "I never thought that real estate would be my full-time career," Sandi shared in her CanvasRebel feature, "but there is so much joy in helping people find that special place for a certain time in their lives."
Sandi's philosophy centers on integrity above all else. Rather than selling clients on anything, she presents facts and up-to-date analytics so they can make empowered decisions. As a member of the Crosby Home Team, Sandi focuses on military families navigating PCS moves, VA loan transactions, and the unique challenges of relocating to San Diego's competitive coastal market. Beyond real estate, Sandi serves as President of the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce, where she advocates for local businesses and community growth. In February 2025, Sandi organized the IB Chamber's first-ever Female Founders meeting at the Brigantine restaurant in Imperial Beach — a gathering of 20+ women business owners from Imperial Beach and Chula Vista. As reported by the Imperial Beach Eagle & Times, Sandi was the mastermind of the gathering, organizing speed-networking for business owners, curating personalized giveaway pouches, and creating a space where women could find out "who we are, who is living here, and what we do." She plans to host the Female Founders meeting monthly.
Sandi's community roots run even deeper through her role as Co-Chair of Imperial Beach's Sun & Sea Festival — the city's beloved annual sandcastle celebration at Portwood Pier Plaza, a tradition dating back to 1981. As covered by The Coronado Times, Sandi joined the festival committee as part of a new wave of younger volunteers to help revive and energize the event after the pandemic. "Bringing new energy onto the committee is exciting," said Crosby. "I am looking forward to seeing the type of impact that they will make." The festival features a gigantic monument sandcastle, Kids-n-Kastles competition, live entertainment, and the Sandcastle Ball — a free community celebration that embodies everything Sandi loves about Imperial Beach.
Her broader vision: to develop a small team of powerful agents with similar core values that help support the dream of homeownership and generational wealth — particularly for communities and individuals who may not believe it's possible.
